Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Palmyra to Macedon

September 10, 2021

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal between Lock E-29 (Palmyra) and Lock E-30 (Macedon) is now one-foot below normal navigation level effective 7:00 am today, September 10, 2021. Vessels requiring full depth will be accommodated and requests should be directed to Lock E-29 at (315) 597-4691 for coordination.

Boaters should refer to the table on the Canal Corporation western portion website link below for a current listing of navigation depths.
