Erie Canal – Scotia to Fort Plain

October 5, 2021

Mariners are advised of floating debris and strong currents due to recent heavy rainfall in the Mohawk River from Erie Canal Lock E-8 (Scotia) to Lock E-15 (Fort Plain), particularly at the downstream approaches to locks. 

Boaters should proceed with caution through these areas.
