Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Scotia

October 5, 2021

Mariners are advised that high water levels along Mohawk River sections of the Erie Canal have reduced the vertical clearance of Railroad Bridge E-12 over the Erie Canal to 19.90’, which is below the governing 21’ for this section of canal. Boaters should verify overhead clearances at bridges before proceeding.
