Temporary Fountain: Cayuga-Seneca Canal above Locks CS2-3 Seneca Falls
NOTICE TO MARINERS
CAYUGA-SENECA CANAL – TEMPORARY FOUNTAIN
September 17, 2021
Mariners are advised that a temporary fountain has been installed in Van Cleef Lake by the Town of Seneca Falls in the vicinity of Trinity Church. The fountain is located at the mouth of the lake in Seneca Falls and will be on display through October 8th.
The illuminated fountain will spray water 80 feet into the air over the canal each day beginning at noon and turned off at 10:00 pm. Fountain lights will cycle through the colors of purple, white, and gold.
The fountain area is marked by buoys and boaters should proceed at a "No Wake" speed while transiting this area.
