Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Frankfort

August 30, 2021

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-19 (Frankfort) will temporarily close at 9:00 am on Tuesday, August 31st for vessel maintenance at the lock. It is anticipated that the lock will reopen at noon on the same day.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.

The Canal Corporation urges all users to register to receive updates through the "Notice to Mariners" notification program at www.canals.ny.gov.
