Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Town of Ogden

July 2, 2021

Mariners are advised that the Gillett Road Bridge (E-173) over the Erie Canal in the Town of Ogden, Monroe County, has bridge repair activities beginning on Monday, July 5th through the end of the day on Friday, July 23rd.   

The normal overhead clearance and normal navigation channel width clearance will not be affected. Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when traversing this area.
