Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Waterford Flight

June 29, 2021

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-2 through E-6, Waterford Flight, that was announced as closed in a previous Notice to Mariners has reopened to navigation, however will only be passing vessels with a maximum beam of 21 feet due to an inoperable upper gate at Lock E-6, until further notice.

Westbound boaters should tie to the starboard side of the lock when passing through Lock E-6.
