Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Waterford Harbor

June 29, 2021

Mariners are advised that the eastern half of the docks at the Waterford Harbor will be closed to recreational vessels due to steamboats mooring at the docks from Wednesday, June 30^th until the end of the day on Sunday, July 4^th for an event on the Hudson River. The western half of the docking facilities will be open to recreational boaters. Utilities at the docks will also be limited.

Please call the Waterford Harbor Master at (518) 233-9123 with any questions or concerns.  

Additionally, there will be a fireworks display on the Hudson River on the evening of Sunday, July 4^th that will not affect navigation in the Waterford Harbor.
