Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Newark/Palmyra

June 21, 2021

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal is closed between Erie Canal Lock E-28B in Newark E-29 in Palmyra due to a deenergized powerline in the Canal in the village of Palmyra, between Division Street (E-117) and NY Route 21S (E-116).

New York State Gas and Electric (NYSEG) crews have been dispatched.
