Mariners are advised of silt deposits in the navigation pool from Erie Canal Lock E-16 in St. Johnsville to Lock E-17 in Little Falls in the vicinity of Guard Gate 3 in Indian Castle, due heavy stream flows. Vessels with draft more than 6 feet should not transit this level.
