Erie Canal – Scotia

June 18, 2020

Mariners are advised that the installation of the moveable dam at Erie Canal Lock E-8 (Scotia) is in progress. Please use caution in proximity of the riverbanks as fluctuating water levels east and west of Locks E-8 and E-9 (Rotterdam) may create hazardous conditions. Please be aware that no Aids to Navigation are installed on these levels.
