Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Ilion

August 14, 2019

Mariners are advised that dredging operations are in progress at the Ilion Marina, in the Town of Mohawk. The dredging area is between buoy R514 and buoy G529, west of Lock E-18 in Jacksonburg. Boaters planning to utilize the marina should be aware dredge equipment occupying the area. Use caution and proceed at a "No Wake" speed of not more than 5 mph.
