Notice to Mariners

Western Erie Canal – Orleans County

October 7, 2024

 

Mariners are advised that the Canal between Hulberton Rd. Lift Bridge (E-191) and Park Ave. Lift Bridge (E-181) over the Erie Canal that was announced as closed in a previous Notice to Mariners has reopened to navigation.

The Canal system is scheduled to close to navigation at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. All vessel operators should plan their trips to ensure they exit the system by that time.
