Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Waterford Flight

September 27, 2024

 

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-2 through Lock E-6, the Waterford Flight, will close to navigation for maintenance from noon to 3:15 pm today.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.

The Canal system is scheduled to close to navigation at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. All vessel operators should plan their trips to ensure they exit the system by that time.
