Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Waterford to Stillwater

September 23, 2024

 

Mariners are advised that Champlain Canal Lock C-1 in Waterford to Lock C-4 in Stillwater is closed to navigation due to a mechanical issue at Lock C-3 until further notice. Southbound vessel traffic presently in this area of the Canal below Lock C-3 will be permitted to exit the Canal at Lock C-1, however no new northbound vessel traffic will be able to enter at Lock C-1. Updates will follow.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.
