Western Erie Canal – Medina and Middleport
September 23, 2024
Mariners are advised that underwater survey activities will be conducted in the vicinity of Guard Gate 15 in Medina and Middleport Guard Gate 16 over the Erie Canal starting today through Saturday, September 28th.
The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should use caution and proceed at a "No Wake" speed of not more than 5 mph in this area.
