Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Macedon to Pittsford

September 20, 2024

 

Mariners are advised that underwater survey activities will be conducted from Erie Canal Lock E-30 in Macedon to Lock E-32 in Pittsford from Saturday, September 21st through Sunday, September 22nd.

The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should use caution and proceed at a "No Wake" speed of not more than 5 mph in this area.                                                                                                                                                              Charts showing the affected area can be found at
