Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Amsterdam

September 3,2024

 

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-11 in Amsterdam is only able to pass vessels with a maximum beam of 21 feet due to an inoperable upper gate until further notice. Maintenance crews have been notified.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.
