Erie Canal – Lock E-8 to Lock E-11

The Erie Canal between Locks E-8 and E-11 will reopen at 8am on Saturday, August 17th. Mariners are advised that buoys may be off station and that water levels between Lock E-8 and Lock E-11 may be below normal navigation levels through Saturday while the canal continues to refill.
The Canal Corporation urges all users and stakeholders to register to receive updates through the Notice to Mariners notification program by clicking here.
