Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – E-28A

August 16, 2024

 

Mariners are advised of underwater inspections occurring throughout today at Lock E-28A

    

The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water.

Boaters should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting these areas and under no circumstances shall any vessel exceed 5 MPH.
