Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Lock C-9

August 16, 2024

 

Mariners are advised that due to an electrical issue Champlain Canal Lock C-9 in Smith’s Basin is closed to navigation until further notice. Maintenance crews have been notified. Updates will follow.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.

 

The Canal Corporation urges all users and stakeholders to register to receive updates through the Notice to Mariners notification program by clicking here.
