Notice to Mariners

Erie and Oswego Canals 

August 10, 2024

 

Mariners are advised of reports of both red and green buoys (Aids to Navigation) on Oneida Lake, Cross Lake and the Oswego River that have been reported off station due to strong currents from recent heavy rainfall.  

Boaters should proceed with caution in these areas of the Canal system.
