Notice to Mariners
Oswego Canal – Fulton to Oswego
July 12, 2024
Mariners are advised of a paddlefest occurring on the Oswego Canal beginning downstream (north) of Lock O-3 in Fulton and continuing through Lock O-8 in Oswego on Saturday, July 13th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Approximately 400 kayaks and canoes will be participating. (SUPs) Stand Up Paddleboards are unable to pass through the locks.
Boaters should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting the event and under no circumstances shall any vessel exceed 5 MPH. Law enforcement will be present.
