Champlain Canal – Fort Ann

Mariners are advised that a bridge inspection will be occurring on the Champlain Canal on the following schedule:

• Wednesday, July 3^rd – Clay Hill Rd. Bridge (C-23) over the Champlain Canal in Fort Ann, Washington County.

This bridge will be inspected using an Under Bridge Inspection Unit, which will be deployed from the deck of the bridge. Channel width may be reduced, and slight delays may occur due to a skiff moving below the bridge.

Boaters should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, sound horns, and proceed at a "No Wake" speed of 5mph when transiting this area.
