Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Fairport
May 31, 2024
Mariners are advised that Fairport Canal Days will hold a Duck Derby on Sunday, June 2nd, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The event will start at the Main Street Lift Bridge (E-128) in Fairport and finish just west of the Parker St. Bridge (E-127) over the Erie Canal. Safety boats will be present. Kayaks will be in the water to collect the ducks.
Boaters may be delayed for a short period of time during the race and should plan their itineraries accordingly.
