Notice to Mariners

Oswego Canal - Phoenix

Mariners are advised that Oswego Canal Lock O-1 in Phoenix is only able to pass vessels with a maximum beam of 21 feet due to an inoperable upper gate, until further notice. Maintenance crews are working to resolve the issue. Culvert St. (bascule) Lift Bridge (O-4) over the Oswego Canal, north of Oswego Canal Lock O-1 in Phoenix, continues to be inoperable due to an electrical issue and is in the down position. Vessel passage is limited to vessels with a maximum overhead clearance of 10 feet.
