Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal - Mechanicville

Mariners are advised that the that the upper (North) boat barrier line at Champlain Canal Lock C-3 in Mechanicville will not be installed until further notice, due to high river flows. The barrier prevents boats from approaching too close to the dam. Boaters should use caution when approaching this area.
