Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – New London

May 16, 2024

Mariners are advised that on Saturday, May 18, 2024, and Sunday, May 19, 2024, Locks E-21 and E-22 in New London will operate on extended hours as follows: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Vessels approaching E-21 and E-22 from either direction will be allowed passage through both locks.

On Monday, May 20, 2024, Locks E-21 and E-22 will return to standard hours of operation - 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily for the remainder of navigation season.
