Notice to Mariners

Cayuga Lake

Mariners are advised that a barge with lighted buoys will be anchored on Cayuga Lake, starting on Monday, April 1st. The location will be south of the Ithaca Yacht Club, approximately 300 yards from the west shore of the lake, with coordinates 42.48591-76.53047. It is anticipated that the barge will remain in place until the end of the day on Wednesday, April 24th. Boaters should use caution and proceed at a "No Wake" speed of not more than 5 mph in this area and be alert for work boats moving through the area.
